Digital accessibility status

The Virtual Museum Gręboszowa website is partially compliant with the annex to the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility due to non-conformities or exemptions listed below.

Preparation of this accessibility statement

• Statement preparation date: 28 May 2026

This statement was prepared based on:

• self-assessment based on WCAG 2.1 Level AA and the digital accessibility checklist (v. 2.2) published on Gov.pl,
• automated accessibility tests: axe-core (Playwright), colour contrast validation,
• Lighthouse Accessibility tests in CI,
• manual verification of keyboard navigation and the in-browser accessibility settings panel.

On-page accessibility features

• “Skip to content” link (first focusable element when tabbing),
• “Accessibility” panel (contrast, font size, text spacing, font family, animations),
• standard browser keyboard shortcuts.

Non-conformities

• The interactive map (Leaflet) is not fully supported by screen readers — we provide a parallel list of places with the same information (in line with the map exemption in the Act).
• Some archival photographs may have simplified alternative text — editorial work is ongoing to improve descriptions in the CMS.
• A full accessibility audit with screen reader users is planned — we currently use automated testing (axe-core) and keyboard review.

Everyone has the right to request digital accessibility of this website or its elements, or to request information in an alternative form.
