About the museum
The Gręboszowa Virtual Museum is a project of the Jakub Bojko Municipal Centre for Culture and Reading in Gręboszów (GCKiCz) — a cultural institution of the commune. The site collects cultural heritage in an open and digitally accessible way for residents and visitors.
Our mission is:
- digitization and description of historical collections,
- local education based on authentic sources,
- compliance with WCAG 2.1 digital accessibility standards at AA level,
- Publishing materials under clear Creative Commons licenses when the law allows it.
The digital museum cooperates with the Municipal Public Library in Gręboszów (in the structure GCKiCz), schools and social organizations. Cultural events of the commune are also announced on the gck.greboszow.pl website.
