Open-air cinema — premieres of the Relay of Remembrance
Square at the Kindergarten in Gręboszów
On August 15, 2026, on the square next to the kindergarten in Gręboszów GCKiCz and the mayor of the commune invited residents to an outdoor show summarizing the workshops of the project "Steadfast from Gręboszowa: Cyfrowa Sztafeta Pamięci 1946–2026". Future viewers of different ages.
Premiere of the series of short films "Eye on History", made during film and journalism workshops. The young filmmakers talked about two people associated with the commune:
- Stefania Łącka from Wola Żelichowska — patriot, journalist and prisoner of Auschwitz-Birkenau;
- Major Henryk Sucharski, commander of the defence Westerplatte.
Apart from the etudes, other effects of the workshops were also shown: interviews and reports of a journalistic group (in the museum — podcasts "Record Grandpa, Record Grandma"), a photo gallery from the photo plein-air and an exhibition of re-photography "Gręboszów yesterday and today". The juxtaposition of old frames with today's appearance of places evoked memories among older residents.
Refreshments were provided by the Rural Housewives Circle "Nadwiślanie" from Kars.
Co-financing: Museum of Polish History in Warsaw, Patriotyzm Jutra programme, funds from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
The announcement of the event was published on the page GCKiCz, photo report — on Facebook.
