Harvest wreath – symbol and design

The tradition of harvest wreaths of the KGW — grain, flowers from the fields and handicrafts of rural housewives.
The harvest wreath is a symbol of gratitude for the crops and hard work of farmers. In the commune of Gręboszów, the tradition is cultivated by the Rural Housewives' Associations — during the annual competition in the Cultural Center, traditional wreaths (made of ears of corn, poppies, hops, flowers) and modern compositions are presented.
The winning wreaths grace the county harvest festival and communal celebrations. Making a wreath requires knowledge of local herbs and grains, tangling skills and the cooperation of the whole woman of the village.
