XX Communal Competition of Ritual Art

Easter palms, Easter eggs and ritual art — jubilee edition of the GCKiCz competition.
Every year, the Commune Centre for Culture and Reading organises a competition of ritual art related to Easter – miniature and low palm trees, Easter eggs, masks, gaiks and other products of local customs. The jubilee XX edition attracted 61 works from the entire commune; the jury evaluated, among others, the works of the Rural Housewives' Associations, schools and kindergartens.
The competition serves to maintain the Easter tradition in villages such as Ujście Jezuickie, Wola Gręboszowska or Borusowa. After the decision, the works are presented at the post-competition exhibition at the headquarters of GCKiCz.
