Composition of the Gręboszów parish before World War I

The number of believers in the parishes in 1914 — over 7300 Catholics.
On the eve of the outbreak of World War I, the following villages (number of Catholics) belonged to the parish of Gręboszów: Gręboszów — 629 · Bieniaszowice — 380 · Biskupice — 356 · Borusowa — 529 · Hubenice — 439 · Karsy — 435 · Kozłów — 265 · Lubiczko — 502 · Pałuszyce — 364 · Jezuickie Mouth — 609 · Wola Gręboszowska — 528 · Wola Żelichowska — 605 · Zalipie — 1163 · Wrestlernicze — 306 · Zawierzbie — 165.
In total, there were 7337 Catholics and about 300 followers of Judaism in the parish (in the SGK of 1881 217 Jewish inhabitants of the parish were given as 5190 Catholics). The parish included almost the entire modern community — with the exception of Żelichów (a separate parish). Cf. Gręboszów in the Dictionary Geographical.
