In the windows of the Wniebowzięcia NMP church in Gręboszów, stained glass windows made after 1920 in the Stanisław Gabriel Żeleński Stained Glass Workshop in Krakow — one of the leading stained glass studios in the Second Republic of Poland — have been preserved.
The Baroque body of the temple from 1650, expanded many times in the nineteenth century, combines the sacral tradition with modernist stained glass — a characteristic element of the furnishings of the churches of Małopolska in the first half of the twentieth century. In the same studio, stained glass windows in the Borus Chapel were made according to the designs of Józef Mehoffer (a separate page in the room). The photos in the gallery show the interior of the temple; detailed shots of individual stained glass windows can be supplemented in the next edition of the collection.
