The park was established in the mid-nineteenth century around the neo-Renaissance Potocki palace — an element of the manor complex.
The neo-Renaissance palace in Borusowa, erected in the mid-nineteenth century for Adam Potocki and rebuilt in 1908–1909 by Jan Bzowski, surrounds a landscape park from the same period.
The palace and park complex is an important element of the cultural heritage of the commune — it combines manor architecture with the natural landscape of the Sandomierz Valley.
