Commune Gręboszów in the years 1944–1989

Assembly national councils, compulsory agricultural supplies and peasant pensions — an abbreviation from the period of the People's Republic of Poland.
After 1944, the communists were in power; from 1952 the official name was the Polish People's Republic. In 1954, the commune was divided into three Assembly National Councils: Borusowa, Gręboszów and Wola Żelichowska; in 1972, one Communal National Council was restored, covering today's villages.
Farmers were burdened with the obligatory supply of grain, meat, milk and potatoes at state prices — these were not abolished until 1972. An important event was the 1977 Act on Agricultural Pensions and Pensions (since 1978), which granted seniors in the countryside the right to benefits independent of family support only. Primary schools operated in the same towns as before the war; from 1954, professional medical care developed.
