Deployment of legionnaires in the commune (1914)

Sub-units of the 1. Legion Infantry Regiment in Hubenice, Kozłów, Borusowa and other villages.
Combat subunits of the 1. Infantry Regiment of the Polish Legions were deployed, m.in, in Hubenice, Kozłów, Samocice, Strojców, Tonia, Wola Gręboszowskiej, Biskupice, Lubiczek, Karsy and Borusowa. In this area, the legionnaires defended the crossings of the Vistula and Dunajec rivers from 17 to 25 September 1914.
