Zalipie — a village in the parish of Gręboszów

Zalipie in the composition of the parish and censuses from the nineteenth century — the vicinity of a painted cottage, a different story than the folklore of Zalipie.
Zalipie was located in the commune of Gręboszów and was part of the parish of Gręboszów. In 1914, the parish census recorded 1163 Catholic believers here — one of the most numerous villages in the vast parish.
The communal study also mentions the folk school in Zalipie (teachers m.in. Kluza, Dulowska). The famous tradition of painting huts in the neighboring Zalipie (Olesno commune) is a separate cultural phenomenon — this card shows Zalipie in the context of the administrative and parish history of the commune Gręboszów.
